Big Rig Ventures Inc., built on the rich fishing traditions of Indigenous communities and the deep waters off British Columbia’s coast.
With the blessings of respected Chiefs and the enduring support of the
Tsleil-Waututh Nation, Squamish Band, Haida Gwaii, and
Matsqui First Nation, Seafood Chiefs was founded not just as a seafood company — but as a cultural bridge between generations, communities, and traditions.
William Porier – Founder
A proud Indigenous fisherman and lifelong resident of British Columbia, William carries the strength of his people and the knowledge of the sea in every step. His life’s work has been a testament to giving back — to his community, to local fishermen, and to those who lifted him along the way. His story is not only about catching fish, but about uplifting others.
